	How Quickly will I receive my book? Orders are manually processed which can take 2 to 48 hours [Business hours and Publisher response are cause for this variation].  Downloads are sent as email attachment to you within 2 business days of payment confirmation - Usually SOONER! (Click To Hide) Automated downloads are not feasible for our store because the constantly changing security requirements are beyond our ability.   We hope dealing with 'real people' and our personal service compensate for slight delays in filling your book wishes. (Remember, email is still faster than Postal delivery!)  We thank you for your extra effort in supporting small stores like us.  Our email to you will arrive with attached book file and brief summary of how to save your e-Book file.  Please Save and Open your book IMMEDIATELY to verify that there is no difficulty with file.   Please be sure your email can accept a large file before ordering.  We suggest you empty your email box of any unnecessary items to assure no difficulty. Some files are sent Zipped for faster email - save your file to desktop and double click, remember the folder where the book is being unzipped to - If you do not have a zip program we recommend WINZIP... but if necessary, we can email your book download unzipped. PLEASE check to be sure that attachments or ebookisle.net emails are not listed as blocked by your spam guard.   If they are, add a notation in "comments" when you order to make other arrangements.
	What are formats for Books? (Click To Hide) HTML - web page format  - HTML uses your web browser to read.  HTML is both Mac and Window compatible. [Newer Word and Word Perfect will also read HTML] HTML is also compatible or convertible for most readers which is why HTML is the default format when ordering from our store.   PDF (Portable Document Format) - PDF uses Adobe Acrobat Reader, installed on many PC's Acrobat is available as a free download - click here to download newest version of Acrobat Reader.  PDF is both Mac and Window compatible.  Adobe also has a Palm OS and Pocket PC program available - Palm OS 3.0 or greater is used in many Smartphones and PDAs.  (As an aside, USPS, IRS and other government forms on the Internet are in PDF format.)   PRC - MOBIPOCKET Reader for PC, PDAs  (PalmOS 2 onward, Windows CE, Pocket PC, Psion Epoc32, Franklin eBookMan) and SMARTPHONE. To get your free software download go to Mobipocket Webhome  The program comes with "convert file" option; so unsecured format ebooks can be converted for reading.   PDB - eReader eBook Reading Software.  eReader is for Windows, Mac and Mobile devices using Palm OS 3 onward - used in many smartphones and PDAs. The software is free and can be downloaded here [Free version is listed after the purchase editions]   LIT - MSReader is exclusively for Microsoft Reader program [if you have Word 2000, there is an add-in download available at Microsoft that can convert WORD and HTML documents to MSReader format].   RB - ROCKET Edition is exclusively for Rocket Reader or REB e-Book Readers - you can download a PC version of Rocket Reader. [RocketWriter Program free download from Nuvomedia to converts HTML to Rocket .rb file].  NOTE: These 'book size' readers are no longer manufactured.   DOC - WORD Document files are for Word 95 7.0 or higher.   PRINT at BookIsle usually means paperback [PB].  POD stands for Print-On-Demand which usually is Trade Paperback or odd-sized paperback.  TRADE [TPB] is the larger size paperback [8.5" high]  BCE [Book Club Edition] is same height as TPB Mass Market Paperback [MM] or Standard paperback [PB] is 6" high.
	IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!  (Click To Hide) Downloaded e-Books cannot be exchanged or returned Be sure to order the correct format!  When in doubt, email us with your question or order HTML as it is the most user-friendly. Downloaded e-Books cannot be used for trade-in without violating copyright! e-Books are protected under copyright law. You are granted permission to make 1 copy for backup and/or 1 print copy for personal use. You may NOT copy all or part for any other purpose. Please respect the author's rights and purchase paperback if planning to share your Book.   Remember, 'A workman is worth their wages.' Authors deserve our respect and payment for their services. They need sales to continue to provide you with excellent stories.    At this time there is not a specific reader we can wholeheartedly endorse. I still use my Jornada for special tasks but I love the screen on my T3 [Palm's Tungsten series] for reading. The screen display is 50% larger than on any previous Palm branded device. The expansion feature of the T3 screen and it's landscape viewing option allows a much wider page than any other PDA's I know of. . . I think what impresses me most is the clarity of the text on the high resolution color screen. I've enjoyed reading on it in the bright sunlight, in the dark and in levels of light in between.
	What Small Press publishers are available at BOOKISLE? E-books cannot be sold without  authorization by publisher.  We can only provide e-books by these small press publishers. Amber Quill Press [AQP] AQP Downloads available in HTML, PDF and LIT format. Many books are also published as Trade Paperbacks. Atlantic Bridge Press and Liquid Silver Books  [AB-LS] ABP Downloads available in HTML, PDF and LIT format. Many books are also published as Trade Paperbacks. Hard Shell Word Factory [HSWF] HSWF Downloads available in HTML, PDF and LIT format. Trade Paperbacks of most titles are available. ImaJinn Books (NO downloads available at Book Isle) Trade Paperbacks with 'something extra' -- Ghosts, psychics, paranormal phenomena, witches, vampires, werewolves, angels, reincarnation, time travel, space travel, and the future. Books are available in Trade-size Paperback Books (5.5" X 8.5")  Most books must be Special ordered and can take 3 to 6 weeks to arrive! New Concepts Publishing [NCP] NCP offers HTML, RTF, Word and Microsoft Reader format. Some books are now available in Standard paperback size through SPECIAL ORDER. Whiskey Creek Press [WCP] WCP Downloads available in HTML, PDF and Mobipocket Trade Paperbacks of most titles are available. Other SMALL PRESS PUBLISHERS coming soon!
	Why should I read an e-Book?  (Click To Hide) FIRST, let's get this said:  e-Books are NOT going to replace paperbacks just as TV did not replace movies. Enjoy your reading and the fact that now you have another type of book to read.  There will be 'multi-media' advantages as the technology develops for e-Books that should prove a boon to the writing industry.  I find this exciting, not terrifying.   Does it seem like the print on those paperbacks keep getting smaller and smaller and harder to read? With electronic books you can scale the font size to suit your personal needs AND it is no extra cost for a large print edition!    Is it getting hard to find your favorite sub-genres? e-Books have all those and much more!    With electronic books you can store 3 to 5 times more books in the same amount of space! e-Book readers are available and I expect great improvements in the near future. e-Book readers are about the size of a Trade paperback and portable.  There is not a special e-Book Reader that we recommend at this time.  Many have done research on the available readers.  Visit LIBRARY IN YOUR HAND -- Author Dee Lloyd’s Research on eReaders, PDAs and Pocket PCs.   You can read e-Books on your PC, Laptop, Palm Pilot or other PDAs including SMARTPHONE or other cell phones that include PalmOS program.  So, you don't need to buy an e-Book reader.   Of course, you can choose to print your e-Book.  For savings in paper and ink, may we suggest you try a print saving program such as PC Magazine's PCBook2
